Vigen mentioned why he was kept on depth chart at 12:29 mark. My reading too much into the depth chart aspect was what led me to believe there may be a secondary injury in addition to the NCAA decision.

I'm not one to try to break rules... but listening to the tailless kittens' game from last week, there were plenty of cowbells in their stands. I think it would only be kind of us to welcome them back to Brookings with those in the crowd again... help it feel more like home for them.

Definitely like watching him play, and Jacks could use him Sat., but I trust coaches/medical staff not to rush him back.

That's the most likely outcome, and since the Jacks have their bye after the Drake game at Target Field, it would make sense to hold him out until the UND game on the 30th.

Plus, no sense risking recurrence on Target Field infield. Williamson played versus Bobcats, so it's not like Jacks would need to play someone lacking experience.

It's definitely on us as fans to ensure that the seeming lack of appreciation for potential homefield advantage is driven home tomorrow evening. Really hoping we can force a few false starts, delays of game, and/or burned timeouts.
