I didn't get to watch their opening game on Saturday. Did anybody watch it? Going to the FBS games is fun, but I am pretty fired up to have a really good opponent come to Brookings. #1 vs #3, gorgeous weather and a 6 pm start. Oh boy, this has the makings of being something special. Go Jacks!!

Plus the Robert cats will be remembering their last trip here. We better come out ready. I just hope we stay disciplined.

In a HUGE early season test, the Jacks host Montana State on Saturday. This Bobcat team is much healthier and just as talented than the one that came to Brookings last December plus they want some revenge. Learn about MSU here. #GoJacks #BlackOut

Jacks take another step to evening the series. Think Heins gets more involved this week, and the Jacks wreak havoc on Mellott and Chambers.

Has anybody heard anything new on Bock?

Coach Rogers mentioned needing Williamson to step up again this week during this evening's "Jimmy Rogers Radio Show" when Bock's absence last week was discussed, so I wouldn't expect any playing time before Drake game (and it may make more sense to hold Bock out for that game, even if he's available)

Suspect they were keeping Heins limited last week not to tip their hand and get more time post injury. After he and Morgan the TE situation looks bleak. Gormley missed an easy TD for having the measurements and hype. Hopefully he gets another shot to see if he’s a playmaker or not.

I thought that too, and I suspect we'll see a few more screen passes to Davis and Johnson this week.

I haven't heard anything about Clevan, he mentions Jr. that is Jr Alexander, still waiting on NCAA clearing house, hoping to hear something this week. Ty is most likely out but we were hoping he would be ok to go, Lane got tweaked in this weeks game.

Not having Ty is the one that hurts, he has the ability to take the top off a defense.

Well, dang it, looks like I fell into the classic "brother Darryl, other brother Darryl"-esque trap. Thank you for the clarification.

Clevan is listed on the depth chart, the others are not

                              EDIT:
I take that back, Jr is on the depth chart too, he wasn't last week.
