Single game tickets are on sale for season ticket holders today. It would be nice to keep the green and yellow in Fargo.

I can appreciate that they weren't necessarily as annoying as Ungulators, but shouldn't our goal be getting any unused tickets to Jacks fans first?

Also, sdsu fans have benefited from ndsu fans getting them tickets to games in fargo and return the favor. Unless we sell out every game with sdsu fans only it shouldnt be a problem."The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer

I purchased a few extra tickets for Hobo Day (UNI) and North Dakota State games. The athletic dept isn't depending on the likes of me to make the budget; but, I like participating in a small way with controlling tickets for big home games against opponents who can easily travel to Brookings for outdoor football. If other season ticket holders haven't picked up a few extra tickets but are thinking about it, get on it now. The middle section on the east side, Section 120, was nearly sold out by this afternoon. The next adjacent sections, 121 and 119, seemed to be selling at a brisk pace. But, by the end of today, still a lot of very good seats available on the east side.
Thinking I should pick up a few for the Montana State game too.
So, buy a few tickets and get your SDSU friends to the games.

Traps to avoid:
1). Owing Bison fans
2). Answering whether clothes make one's significant other "look fat"
3). Timeshares

Shouldnt our fans be reciprocal to ndsu fans that have benefited sdsu fans?"The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer

Pay them for the tickets they provide; buy them lunch, supper, and brews in the hellscape known as Fargo. Heck, pay them more than market value if you want, but don't facilitate granting access to folks who can make it more difficult for the Jacks.
Just curious -- what do you think Jacks players and coaches would think of our fans getting tickets for opponents' fans?

I guess i shouldnt have benefitted from my brother as a Nebraska fan who got us tickets to the Neb games years ago.
I think coaches wouldnt really care, as long as its a great atmosphere. I doubt sdsu fans are going out of their way buy 50 or 100 bison fans. If adsu fans are getting left out they need to do better planning a head.
If an sdsu fan is friends with or knows a bison fan who hooked them up with a ticket for fargo i see no issue repaying the favor. I dont think going out of their way to hook up other fans is necessary."The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer

It's highly unlikely a post on an opponent's board about Jacks tickets being available is intended for friends and family. I'm guessing they'd communicate about tickets by some other means.
Moreover, if they're making a general post about tickets being available, it's also unlikely an instance of the reciprocation you're fixated on, unless the post is something like "hey, a rando from Fargo hooked us up with tickets last year; think anyone can help us find this person so we can help him cheer on the Bobcats, Panthers, Bison, etc. in our backyard this year?"
Obviously, you don't see that as an example of poor planning by not getting said rando's contact info. the first time, but I digress.

I'd be curious how many on here would be willing to accept $5-10 less per ticket to help a family of Jack backers attend the game versus getting market to greater than market value from opponents' fans.

If your concerned other fans might get into a game, buy up every single available ticket and you can screen and only let sdsu fans in. Then you wont have to worry about those evil opposing fans stealing seats from sdsu fans."The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer
