It looked like the first ten rows were reserved because they weren't available as soon as I bought first set of tickets at 10am.

Is there anyway to avoid the $5 order and $5 per ticket fee?

I always like end zone views and seeing the play develop, and the end zone pushes up close to the outfield wall so I thought front row there might be something unique and different.
I did have the same thoughts as you though. The lower bleachers at Target have a really low slope too, in addition to being low to start with.

Has anyone received any info about what time gates open, what amenities will be available at the game, etc? I'm not finding anything at gojacks.com or the Twins/TF website.
Edit: TF gate policy says on weekends gates open 2 hrs before opening pitch. No idea whether kickoff can be substituted.Last edited by jbjack; 09-13-2023, 01:02 PM.

No spot to tailgate but the various alumni associations from different cities, JFPA, and other groups are hosting pre-game parties at different bars and restaurants near Target Field. Here is the list: https://www.statealum.com/s/1108/21/...61&calcid=8908
At first I wasn’t sure what the ticket sales would be like for this but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the number of friends deciding the last few days to go up for this. I think it’s going to be a great time and we should break 20k people. Great representation for SDSU in the Twin Cities and a chance for our many alumni up there to catch a game.

Looking through stadium policy info on Twins website, was pleasantly surprised that what you can bring into a game is more relaxed than our own stadium. No clear bag policy, you can bring in a smaller bag. You can bring in sealed bottle water (can also do that at SDSU). Can bring in food and snacks as long as its not in certain containers. At the Montana State game, the family behind me in line was not able to bring in unopened applesauce pouches (I told them to say they had diabetes and needed it as a medical necessity for blood sugar).

My family goes to a lot of Twins games, so here is a little info for anyone less familiar with the area:
Parking:
I highly recommend downloading the Spot Hero app. The best places to park are Ramp B, Ramp A, and the Hawthorne Ramp. All of these connect directly to Target Field plaza via the Skyway. Ramp B is great because you can drive directly from I-394 into the ramp without having to navigate downtown streets. It fills up fast, but you can reserve spots in advance using the app. Parking is usually about $16. We will probably park there early and walk down to one of the pre-game things GoJacks2011 linked to.
Bags:
During Twins games they let you bring in small bags with outside food. You can't bring in drinks, but you can bring empty water bottles to fill in the stadium. We usually bring sandwiches and a box of cheez-its or something so the kids can snack without spending outlandish prices on food. I'm 90% sure that they will have the same policy for the Jacks game...we are reaching out to the ticket office to confirm.
Target Field experience:
The place is awesome. You can walk around the park and still see the game. There are several places to stand or sit at a railing (similar to sitting at the rail in a bar) and watch the game while you eat a hot dog or drink a beer, if you are in to that.
Concessions:
No cash is accepted anywhere in the park. There is one Value concession stand tucked away in center field where prices are pretty good--you can get a 12 oz can of beer for $5, a "value" hot dog for like $2, popcorn for like $2, and some other options like that. Elsewhere, be prepared to pay high prices. Tap beer is like $15 for a 22oz domestic, and most of the domestic taps are Bud Light. There are lots of other beer choices for a few dollars more, including some great local beers. At the normal (non-value) concessions a hot dog with chips is the cheapest food at ~$8, a brat is ~$9, chicken tenders meal for like $12...pretty pricey, but it is high quality food.
Hopefully this has been helpful. I hope to see you guys up at the game on Saturday. Go Jacks!
