back in the day we used to have a prescription for that!!!
If there is a row of 25 with either no seats or 1 seat taken it doesn't take very long. No I did not count 2,000 individual dots.

2022 home attendance for first four games:
      UC-Davis 15,182
      Butler 16,414
      WiU 15,237
      USD 19,332

      Total 66,165
      Average 16,541

If we hit 19,000 even, the five-game average jumps to 17,033. That'll pay the bills.

Pretty likely would cause a smack attack. Go to the official USD Athletics website if you're curious( (but leave it there!

Mods may move this if necessary. All of the MVFC teams list attendance in their box scores and all offer access to box scores from their schedule. The coyotes have had three home games this season:
vs Cal Poly on 9/17 listed as 6812 in attendance
vs NDSU on 9/24 listed as 6530 in attendance
vs SIU on 10/22 listed as 7599.

They list capacity as 9,100. I believe this is the lowest spectator capacity in the MVFC and will remain so when the conference adds Murray State.

FWIW, I think USD ranks 9th out of 11 teams for attendance so far this season.

The attendance this year has been excellent. Weather, alcohol sales, and many other factors playing a role but the #1 ranking and level of play are probably the biggest factor.

Many of our opponents thought our new stadium was too big when it was built and that it’d never be full. Didn’t take long for those nay-sayers are proven wrong once again.

Weather update: The Weather Channel (checked at 12:44 am Thursday) says sunny and a high of 65 with winds 15-25 out of the SSW. The stadium protects fans from a SSW wind. The walk up crowd should consider buying tickets in advance—they may be gone at game time.

A year ago the Jacks lost to UNI 17-26 on Hobo Day. New homecoming win streak starts Saturday.

More background on Saturday’s opponent taken from the preview story on the Jackrabbits’ athletics website:

THE SERIES: Saturday's game marks the 12th meeting on the gridiron between SDSU and Indiana State, a series that dates back to when the Jackrabbits joined the Missouri Valley Football Conference at the start of the 2008 season. The Jackrabbits have held the upper hand in the series with a 9-2 advantage, which includes seven consecutive wins.

In the most recent matchup, Sept. 25, 2021, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the Jackrabbits used big plays on offense and a stifling defense to post a 44-0 shutout in the MVFC opener for both teams. All five SDSU touchdowns covered at least 22 yards, the longest of which was a 42-yard pass from Chris Oladokun to Jaxon Janke midway through the second quarter.

SDSU held a 517-226 advantage in total offense despite running nine fewer offensive plays (68-59).

Indiana State's two wins in the series came in back-to-back years — 2010 and 2011.

It does appear the 19,000 attendance should be attained. Go Jacks!!

Tanner is great. Hope kelo can pay him. Im afraid a bigger region will try to steal him.
