but i think i am giving play of the game to either Huerter for the TD saving INT at end of half or to Beanum for the final breakup

probably giving player of the game, to me Co players, Davis and Amar Johnson

even hurt ID still had some huge runs in the second half and of course his running in the first half kept us in the game
and hopefully this is the game that gives Amar the confidence to be the player they thought he could be when they recruited him. stepped up big time when we absolutely HAD TO HAVE HIM

i think the D will very deservingly get a TON of credit and recognition for shutting them down in the second half

but tell me if i am wrong, did the offense get points on EVERY drive in the second half except the final drive after Beanum's stop

Beanum's stop great example of how individuals get more attention when the team succeeds
it was a GREAT play by him
but the whole defense did a great job to put him and themselves in that position to get a stop on 4th and long
and the other 10 players also did their jobs on that play so that him doing his job had a chance to matter

GREAT TEAM WIN- way to find little ways to hang in the game in the first half
way to make some adjustments and totally dominate the second half

I did not go further back than the start of the 2016 season… but…North Dakota State has never lost a football game in that time period even w/o scoring in one of the halves….they have had 5 of those games!!!
The JACKS gave them there 1st loss with those stats!!! I wonder when they have previously lost without scoring in one of the halves?? Hell of a job by the JACKS!!!!

I lucked out on a scoop and score a couple seasons ago (probably due more to scoop's similarity to my preferred dessert than any ability on my part), so you're right. Still, I'll continue trying to will turnovers by Jacks' opponents.

I'd never bet on sports (doing so could compromise my ability to purchase Jacks garb, ice cream, and playoff tickets -- all of which are safe "bets" to be enjoyable)

if we are looking back, i think if you go back to however long it has been for our last 5 wins (including today) over ndsu, i think that we now have more wins against them then all the other teams in college football combined

i think that also goes back to 2016. definitely could be wrong, but i think we beat them in 16 and 18 and now spring 21, fall 21, and 22. i am pretty sure in that same time everyone else has a total of 4 wins against them

Yep about 20 minutes. The last three game, third quarter has belonged to the Jacks. That is what NDSU used to do. Jimmy Rogers has done well developing a dominating defense.
