Chase was teammates with current SDSU RB Angel Johnson (the only other Viborg-Hurley player during the FCS era). Viborg-Hurley won the state championship in 2019. Chase missed most of 2020 with a knee injury.

Viborg is southwest of Sioux Falls and 1 hr 30 minute drive to Brookings.
