Will be the 5th Jack to ever sign from the state of Indiana in the FCS era, behind another 2022 recruit QB Jeff Becker and previous players P Ron Pavlik ('14), S Brandon Thomas ('15-17) and WR Keenan Orr ('17). (neither of the three previous players saw the field very much)
Merrillville is located in the Northwest corner of Indiana, close to the Chicago suburbs and just south of Gary, IN. It looks to be a 10 hour drive.
Merrillville High School plays in highest class in Indiana (6A) and is currently undefeated at 9-0 and ranked #6. They also have a DT who is going to Michigan and a CB who signed for Notre Dame last year
