We certainly have some potential depth issues at running back with Jefferson Lee retiring and Isaiah Davis hurt. Amar Johnson has looked good when given the opportunities to get on the field. Curious if anyone has reports on how Josh Buri and Daxon Lindholm are looking in practice? Currently no signings for this fall at the running back position. Be interesting to see if Angel Johnson will see some more reps at running back.

When the season started, plans were to redshirt Lindholm so he could hit the weights and get stronger. Not sure if that still applies after Davis got hurt. They likely want Amar to get as many backup carries as possible so he is ready if Strong would go down.

I'm pretty sure Angel Johnson was suited up on the sidlines at Ind St so he might be the 3rd option

Hoping they implement Buri as short yardage or keep that option open with either of the Janke’s and Kraft.

They might be trying to keep Buri and Angel within the four game limit to preserve redshirts. They each have three games left, so they may use them sparingly as the third back only as needed.
