Improvement week is over and prep for the Sycamores has begun.

2 games and 2 significant injuries. Hoping Davis heals well and is raring to go when the hairy cows come to town.

The RB room should be fine even with little experience there. I liked what both Amar and Angel brought to the table. My concern is the short yardage stuff. Yes. PS2 can handle it, I was impressed with Buri as well against Lindenwood. I think he can add to the running game. Also with how Kraft, Bauer, and the Janke’s are built I think that can come into play. It’s nice that they had improvement week to make those adjustments if needed.

We’ve had some good o-line play over the years but this squad is next level nasty and technically sound. Love watching them in the trenches.

Defensively continue to swarm and play sound football. Lots of nasty out there as well. This is a sqecial squad.

Thats probably the biggest difference in this team is we went from a good to above average offensive line, to probably the best in the conference. Same with D line. Went from adequate, to 12 deep and one of the best in the conference.

Thats the difference I think why NDSU would get the better of us. it wasnt skilled positions, or linebackers or anything, just their lines were the most consistent on both sides of the ball. We have matched or surpassed their line play IMHO.
