The recap for week 5 in the Valley is below. Another easy win for ya'll. Seems like everyone is talking about Sam Houston, JMU, EWU, Montana and NDSU and you guys don't get mentioned because you're just killing everyone haha.
I will start doing playoff projections with my recaps and power rankings with my previews starting this weekend and moving forward. You can also follow me on Twitter @BeatMVC
It was a crazy week in the FCS and the Valley was no exception. My recap is below. I also lay out who I think the committee would have in the playoffs if the season ended today.
You all still have the best team in the league, IMO, but SIU showed me something I didn't think they had last week and the Bison are better than I thought. Should be a crazy playoffs.

I recap week 7 in the Valley, look at some other big FCS results from the week, and lay out my playoff projections in this week's recap article below. GO VALLEY!

UNI squanders an opportunity to take lead, provided by none other than Nick Hill after he rants/curses himself to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, although I suppose an SIU win may be best for Jacks, as SIU is unlikely to lose three games
With UNI winning, guess that means Jacks fans should root for Bears next couple weeks (against Salukis and UNI)?
Sure, that'd mean Bears would defeat two teams who've beaten Jacks, but Jacks could also defeat teams that beat Bears (Bison & Penguins), and beating Bison would theoretically be more consequential among playoff committee.
