SDSU athletes honored by NCC
South Dakota State quarterback Brad Nelson was named offensive player of the week for North Central Conference football.
The junior from Winona, Minn., completed 24 of 31 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns as SDSU defeated nationally ranked Northwest Missouri State 20-0.
In volleyball, SDSU's Kim Bostrom shared NCC offensive player of the week honors with North Dakota State's Jenny Gronner-Roisum. Bostrom, a junior middle hitter from Circle Pines, Minn., hit .427 in five matches. She averaged 3.89 kills, 0.89 digs and 1.11 blocks per game.
