Northwest was inside the Jacks red zone three different times, and got turned away all three times without scoring.

The Jacks were efficient on offense, but showed some big play ability as well. It sounds like there may be some speed on defense, as in the first half, a NW back (I think) had broken away, and was run down by a Jack corner (whose name I've regretfully forgotten).

In all, a very impressive victory. Over the years the Jacks have always had good offenses but suspect defenses. If this defense is as good the rest of the year as they were tonight, the Jacks are going to win a LOT of games.

The CB was Tyran Slaughter (the Jr. College Trans. from Harbor City, CA). The radio guys went on and on about that play. It is good to have some speed at the corners.
