The things I take away from this weeks games are that St. Mary's and Southern Utah are people we should beat coming out of the blocks.  I also think that SDSU should be competitive with most of I-AA.  UC-Davis a team we know and have beaten, not so long ago, handed yet another Big Sky team a loss from the Great Western.

Huge game for UC-Davis, Sac State is their USD.  Looks like Western Oregon gave Southern Utah all they wanted.  I will end by recapping the fact that UNC, NDSU, UC-Davis, and Cal Poly have all beaten Big Sky Schools and the Big Sky is a very well respected I-AA conf.  Cal Poly even has a win over a I-A.  They opened the season by beating Texas El-Paso! Looks like a very strong conf.  Thanks for the update filbert.

This is very interesting. Knowing comparative scores are often of no value, it interesting to see that UCD took WOU by 20 and SDSU got them by 27, 37-10. I really wonder how we would do against Davis. Its a very good possiblity that we will find out next year.

You could also look at it as NDSU beat SDSU by 24, and Davis beat NDSU by 9.
Davis had a very athletic team that didn't make many mistakes. Their line was huge and fast, a combo that doesn't happen very often. The defense was very quick and the QB didn't miss.

I dont think we want UCD this year at least based on how we have played the past three games. So your comparison without doubt carries some weight.
