Re: O Coordinator Eidsness to interview with SMSU
My congradulations to Tim Steinbeck on his new position at SMSU. I have gotten to know Tim at the SDSU alumni golf outings in Volga.
I am sure his friendship and respect for Eric Eidness weighted heavy in his choice. Last June, Coach Stig had not chosen his defensive co-ordinator and Tim told me that was going to soon be announced, but it was a toss-up between Tim and Karl Ballard. Ballard got the job and I can understand disappointment that Tim might have experienced since Ballard was more junior in experience at SDSU. I think Tim leaving removes any possiblity of friction within the ranks. I hope we can find a qualified replacement.
