An interesting idea was born over at Any Given Saturday.  While communicating with one of the UC-Davis guys it was brought to my attention that we both have famous wine makers attached to our schools.  Seems that Robert Mondavi is a UC-Davis Alum. and we of course have J. Lohr class of '58.  

We were saying wouldn't it be a good idea to have a rivalry game between UC-Davis and SDSU.  Call it the Lohr-Mondavi Classic, you could play for a Magnum as a traveling trophy.  What do you guys think?

Mondavi isn't a Davis alum. The University was building a performing arts center and food and wine center and they basically told him for $40 million he could have his name on both.
