I love expectations.  They help set lofty goals and drive people to achieve.  When reached the reward is that much more satisfying.  Of course, failure leads to accountability, shared or individual.  Go JACKS.

I think he got NDSU and SDSU backwards:

Predicted Order of Finish:
1. Northern Colorado- WR Vincent Jackson returns along with enough talent to make this team a top 25 contender
2. UC Davis- Lost some quality talent but returns a corp that could be dangerous
3. North Dakota State- Returns a ton of talent and should be a conference title contender in 1st year in I-AA
4. Cal Poly SLO- The return of All-American LB Jordan Beck gives this defense hope for a solid 2004 campaign
5. South Dakota State- QB Brad Nelson makes this team very tough. He is a legit pro prospect as well
6. Southern Utah- DL Major Salanoa is a stud to look for on this defensive front

It would be nice to start off with 63 scholarship players but that's the ideal and not real situation.

I think our staff is going to give it 110 per cent effort in getting our guys ready. We have the talent already in place to be competitive and win some games that some may not expect us to.

New coaches with new strategy could make some difference over last season. Our defense will be better and with an experienced QB and new O Line we should pick up where we left off. We beat Davis once before and I think we can do that again.

So lets play the games and predictions are not often very meaningful.

As a matter of fact, we have NEVER lost to UC Davis at their place. Ok the teams have only met twice and we have each won a game at the other's home field, but we have NEVER lost at Davis!
