Great West Preseason Poll

Polling for the Great West is under way, with a release date of August 5th or 6th....

I would like some help in filling out my ballot.....

I would rank the teams:

1. UNC
2. NDSU
3. Southern Utah
4. SDSU
5. Cal - Davis
6. Cal - Poly

I think the top three and the bottom three could all switch around a little bit but the teams shouldn't jump from their respective halfs too much. If you look at non-conference records as well it may be much different as UNC and SDSU play tough non conference games.

I hope the Jackrabbits surprise. This is a very tough and balanced conference and anything could happen. One thing is for sure I will be rooting on our Jackrabbits all the way!

The ranking for SDSU may be wishful thinking, but one has to be optimistic.

Wow- still no respect for the T-Birds of Southern Utah.

I love the fact that there are so many differing opinions on the conference. I've yet to see one person see it exactly the same as another person no matter which message board. I think almost everyone will have different thoughts on how this season will play out with so much talent up and down the conference.

I voted the way I laid it out in my preseason preview column. It will be very interesting to see how the media sees it.
