BIRMINGHAM, Al. – The Russell Athletic Corporation showcased the brand new football jerseys of the Southwestern Athletic Conference teams at Media Day on Friday. Russell in association with New Vision Sports Properties signed a five-year partnership with the SWAC, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).

I have been doing some reading over on the SWAC board. Seems that the Russell Jersey for Southern will be the new away jersey. All the other members of the SWAC went with new home jerseys. Southern just got brand new home Jerseys that have never been worn. He is a story that has a picture of the Jersey's we will see when the Rabbits make the "hop" down to Baton Rouge.
