Later tonight Wyoming is taking on UCLA in the Pioneer Bowl in Las Vegas. It is Wyoming's first Bowl Game in 10 years. Good luck to OKC_Poke's Cowboys! ;D

Actually it's the Las Vegas Bowl and it's been 11 years since our last bowl game.

Last I heard it was 10-0 Cowboys.

Wyoming Edges UCLA to Win Las Vegas Bowl

LAS VEGAS - Corey Bramlet drilled a 12-yard touchdown pass to John Wadkowski with 57 seconds left Thursday night to give Wyoming its first bowl victory in 38 years, a 24-21 win over UCLA.  .  .  .

Wyoming (7-5) had lost six straight bowl games dating to a 1966 Sun Bowl victory over Florida State. The Cowboys hadn't played in a bowl since 1993, when Kansas State beat them 52-17 in the Copper Bowl.  .  .  .


Way to go Pokes, huge win for our old friend Joe Glenn!  Not bad for a USD grad.  Of course Wyomings Asst. Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator, Mike Breske, is a State Grade, Class of '81! ;D

Thanks. Wyoming pulled off a major upset against a BCS school. The non-BCS schools could end up going 6-0 against the BCS this bowl season.

The 10,000 fans from Wyoming who went to the game were treated to a wonderful game.

38 year bowl victory drought ended last night!!! ;D

Plus, we return all but 4 starters next year including our star QB, Corey Bramlet whose older brother is the backup QB for the Cincinnati Bengals.
