To put this list in perspective, #8 is the oft injured signal caller for SD's Augustana College.

We all know that ratings do not always translate to the field. Taking a look at the top 10 players on the list, only 2 have started for the schools that originally recruited them.
                • Jordan Sorrells is in his second year starting for Furman and is having a very good year this year.
                • Eric Ward has been a stud as a 4 year starter and is a 2nd team preseason all-american for Richmond. Many believe he has a chance at the next level.
In the next 10 players on the list, 9 out of 10 have started including Crawford.
                • Hobson was a 4 year starter at Alcorn State.
                • Hatch actually started for LSU last year, but injuries and talented underclassman passed him. He now has transferred back to Harvard.
                • Grace is returning starter at UNI and was 2nd team All-MVFC last year.
                • Young has started 9 games over 2 years at Villanova, but is 2nd on the depth chart this year.
                • Mertens is touted for his talent, but we have all seen his mixed results in leading the Bison
                • Smith is starting for the first time this year for Western Kentucky.
                • Anderson graduated last year after one average year as a starter for Princeton.
                • Fourroux has had a great career at McNeese State, starting his fourth year at the helm this year. He is averaging 225 yards/game and completing nearly 67% of his passes.
