No, I dont think they were, and I dont think they led us on either. Its still likely we will be in the BSC, if not we might be able to get the new conference going for BB and other sports. Either way its good for us, but without the BSC we need the GWFC in a big way.

950 am (the Fan) in Denver has just reported that the University of Northern Colorado has been offered a bid to join the Big Sky Conference.

Nothing official coming from the web pages at UNC or the Big Sky.

But it sounds like they are in.

But it sounds like they are in.

The University of Northern Colorado Bears cleared another hurdle Thursday afternoon as it seeks admission to the Division I (I-AA for football) Big Sky Conference.

The Big Sky Conference President's Counsel voted unanimously via a conference call to enter negotiations with the Bears and invited UNC president Kay Norton and athletic director Jay Hinrichs to its spring meetings May 15-17 in Portland, Ore. A final decision on expansion is expected to be determined at the meeting...........
