Just ordered my tickets for the UC-Davis game in Sioux Falls (Oct 8th). Hotel room at the Sheraton (convenient). Hope to see many Jacks fans at Howard Wood. I suspect plenty of tickets will be available, even at the gates on game day, but I like to plan ahead.

On that note, if anyone hears of a gathering Friday night or Saturday morning, let me know. Otherwise I plan to set-up in the parking lot somewhere. If the security at HW doesn't like that, everyone is invited to my room. Just don't show-up before 8:00 am. ;D

Sounds like the biggest party Howard Wood's going to see all year! Screw Auggie (NAIA? ???). Good for you guys--now that's DI FB! You still have to come up to the FargoDome though :-[ :-[ :-[

I was told that SDSU has rented out Sioux Falls Stadium A.K.A the "the Bird Cage". This will be the sight for SDSU sponsored tailgate area. I would bet it is to ensure a Beer Garden and live entertainment. I am planning on being there and I think it will help bring Jackrabbit Nation to Sioux Falls. I should be fun.

I hope this is true and look forward to hearing more about it. I would anticipate before and after game festivities. I would prefer a BYOB philosophy like the backyard, but could settle for a beer tent.

I believe Cubby's Sports Bar & Grill is going to rent a charter bus and have a tent set up with drink and food also.....Could be fun!

Jacks 2005 preseason roster listed on the football site with assigned numbers for all players including incoming freshman. Interesting number is Freshman 6'4 240 lbs DL Hank Goff with #6. Hank dominated in the Minnesota championship game for Minnetonka. I think he will continue the tradition of quality defensive lineman from the Twin Cities who excell at SDSU.

Couple things.....
Fall sports media day is set for August 10th....

and Sioux Falls stadium will be the official tailgate spot for the Cal-Davis game....should be fun!

Does anyone know when the players report to Fall camp?

When does the SDSU school year begin?

The players should report on August 9 & 10. They are around for media day.
Classes start on August 30.

Tuition bills go out on August 1 by the way!
