Next to the actual games, spring ball is the best part of college football, IMHO. Nothing beats finally getting to pad up again after a long winter inside the HPER.

First day of practice went well. A lot of drills to get back into things. They all seem to be excited to start playing again.

Heard that Preston Crumley injured his knee at practice. Any reports on how severe?  OL is not a position that we are extremely deep at.....  I hope for the best. Any other reports from camp??

They held a little scrimmage on Saturday. Very slow, I was told (Coaches didn't let a lot of plays finish). Kardoes is doing great. He is throwing the ball well. Molitor had a 70yd pass for a TD from Kardoes. Other receivers with a lot of catches. Overall they seem to be pretty happy with the progress.

Don’t know to much else.

Stig says they are working on installing a "Utah" type of offense, that will take advantage of Andy Kardoes' speed, and the large number of wide outs they have.
He says the new defensive coaches are also working on some new schemes, and the response to that has been pretty good. He also says the conditioning of the team is pretty good for this time of year.
No major injuries to this point..

Alright, last chance, any other golfers? I have 2 groups with tee times planned for 9:00 am on the 23rd. If any others are interested let me know ASAP. Plan to finish up the golf and head for the campus around 1:30. May take in some mud VB and then to the backyard with grills and beverages on board (weather permitting).

Friday night plans are loose. Probably Skinners for starters.

2 days to SDSU FB, sounds like FB weather, 55 degrees with light winds.

I have a couple of slots available for golfers. If you show up at Edgebrook by 9:30 with SDSU apparel you're in. Official tee times are 9:36 and 9:44. I'll be wearing my long johns.
