SDSU Ranked in Hansen Poll

SDSU is ranked number 19 in the Don Hansen DI-AA poll this week. See the linke below

We are ranked behind Montana #1, NDSU 6, and Georgia Southern 12, and ahead of Texas State 21, Cal Poly 28, and Davis 37. Rest of our opponents are unranked.

We didn't do so well in the Sagarin rankings where we dropped in spite of the big victory. Their rankings have a strong strength of schedule aspect so even a big victory over a weak team can hurt.

It's good to see you guys on the board. Hopefully we both stay in the top 20 so the battle for the boarder marker will feature a battle between to highly ranked teams. I'm glad NDSU is highly ranked but I think 6 might me a tad to high. I would definately rank them in the 10 to 14 range.

conversely, I think 19 may be a bit high for our team. Don't get me wrong, I hope by the end of the next couple weeks, we're in the top 15 or below in all the polls, but we haven't really proved anything other than we're alot better than DIII schools so far. If we win the next 2 games, we deserve to be in the top ten.

Prediction:

SDSU 21, Griz 10.

Kardoes looks great...the tougher the competition, the better he plays.

Offensive line shows what it did in the LaCrosse and Valpo games were standard operating procedure, irrespective of the competition.

Watson clearly the top running back in the game.
