rumor is that Jordan Paula is transfering to auggie for track at the beggining of next semester, has anyone else heard of this? he was at the bobcat game last night and i guess my mom was talking to some of the parents last night about it

If true, I would wish him the best of luck. He wouldn't be the first nor would he be the last athlete to transfer down a division. I think he has a chance to be a good football player at State, but only he knows what is best for him.

Friendly advice, speculation provides no benefit to anyone. Lets keep this topic about facts alone. If that means nothing is said, fine. If someone has hard factual information from reliable sources, lets hear it.

My son's on the cross country and track teams...I have not heard that rumor. I'll inquire.

Jordan was a good high school track athlete but I think his better sport is football.

Jordan Paula is a great person(as i personally knew him)and i only wish the best for him whatever his decision may be. i played football with him last year at bhs and had fca with him every wednesday afternoon, hes a great kid and very smart i know whatever decision he makes will be the best for him

This is Jordan Paula. I'm not going to transfer. What you heard was a rumor. I don't know how it spread, but i've had a lot of people ask me about it. It's not true. People jump to conclusions too quickly on things, don't believe everything you hear.

This is the second time in less than a year a student athlete has had to come on here to set the record straight (Steve Holdren the other). Think before you post, make sure you know the story, not what you think you may have heard. Its pretty sad when athletes need to come to a message board to squash rumors, they got enough to worry about the way it is.

Can't support this statement enough. If you have something positive that may be true consider it if the source is real and share it with us.

As for negative comments about any individuals or institutions, don't let the anonymity on a internet site influence you too make irresponsible comments not supported by fact. It should and I suspect will not be tolerated.

Who the heck do you think you are posting this nonsense. Do you think this is some kind of fan board where you can just come on here and post rumors that you hear being spread around just so you can find out if they are true or not? Not this board my friend. Instead, what you should do is not post anything about the topic so people who are in the know can't tell you what the real truth is. That way when you hear the rumor abour Jordan going around you can't put a stop to it, because you won't know whether it is true or not.

Before your post I too had heard that Jordan was transfering, when someone had asked me about it a couple of weeks ago I told them that I heard he was. Now because of this thread that you started I realize that he is not. Now when asked about this I can stop the rumor from spreading by telling people that it's not true. So I guess when you think about it, it is a good thing that you started this thread and got to the bottom of that rumor. Hopefully it will keep it from going any further.

Please tell me that either:

a. This is an attempt at sarcastic humor

or

b. You have not been honest about your true occupation which suggests you have a post-graduate degree and are really just an immature teenager.

I can't bear to imagine that an adult with any level of intelligence or tact would think this way.  I take that back, I can't imagine any adult with intelligence or tact who would let other people know he thought this way.  IMO, this removes a substantial amount of credibility from anything you have to post.  Oh wait, the crap about Holdren already did that.  Welcome back duff, I see you haven't gotten any smarter, no suprise.

holy cow people, i came to this board for information, i got the information. is it bad that i came here to blow this rumor away.. because when i heard it i did not believe it, i said no way, thats bogus. so, i knew exactly what to come here to this board where there are alot of intelligent people whose opinion i respect, and now i get bashed for 1 thing i post. Awesome. so great, i wish i had never come to this site and gotten rid of that rumor.

so maybe we should think of it this way. as a group we got down to the truth of what is really true. i guess this is bad.

i thought during this entire thread i was entirely polite, treated people with respect. i get none in return. Jordan Paula is my friend, and i hope he doesnt think anything bad of me because because i respect him, i look up to him as a football player.

this is an honest mistake that any human being on the face of this earth can make. its instinct when you hear imformation, you want to know if its true. and you'll look for credible sources to get the truth. and thats why i came here. That should be a compliment to 89rabbit and every poster who has shared information on this site.

mm34, don't take it so personally. Rumors like this have been posted before and have resulted in some harsh words that have nothing to do with you or your post--that's why the hostile feedback. Keep on posting, young fella, keep on posting....
