Week Nine Predictions

Here are the games for week nine. I have added Delaware and Idaho State, two future opponents. Predictions ae due by noon Friday. We will have a new participant this week. Chris Kelly, writer of the Bottom Line, has graciously agreed for me to include his predicitons for the games involving Great West teams in the listing.

The basketball version of this competition starts this week as well. The games next week are all exhibition games. The list is up on the basketball side of this message board and those predictions are due by Sunday noon.

The predictions for this week are in.   There are two unanimous picks, UNC and NDSU.  Among the others, 10 of 15 predict a victory for Delaware.  The same number pick Weber State to beat Idado St.  In the SDSU game, 12 of 16 see a Jackrabbit victory in store to avenge last years results.  In the other game, there is an even split with eight picking UC Davis and eight picking Cal Poly.  This is a very big game for SDSU as well.  The final standings in the Great West probably will be determined by the results of this contest and the SDSU-NDSU game in two weeks.  If Davis wins tomorrow, SDSU is in the chase for a share of a three way split of the conference title.  If UC Davis wins, we are in good position to take second by ourselves if we beat NDSU in two weeks or share second if we don't.

The players must be in bed by there 3:00am curfew. So if you want them to play on I29 you better hurry. PS X-Jack, would U please have the boyz throw the bumpers in a dumpster. I don’t want them littering the South Dakota country side or piled up in the hotel room for house keeping to deal with & there’s no room on the plane for large souvenirs with all the rabbit pelts they’ll be trying to smuggle aboard.
