By the way, I'm a life-long Angels fan.

I'm not sure what second degree burglary is, but I'm sure a large % of college men have committed that crime.  Not an excuse, but no reason to single the SDSU football team out on this.

Guess we take it as a compliment as we are in a new level??
I am pretty certain a large % of college men have not committed a felony.  These are felonies not petty theft.  Even if they were, it is still not something a lot of college men have done.  Do you really believe a large % of college men are thieves?  Give me a break.  [/quote]

As far as petty theft, I would say it is common. I would not be surprised if around 20 % of college kids have stolen more than $50 of mechandise or property.

For 2nd degree burglary, that seems to be on another level, although taking books out of a dorm room would be at the bottom...

I hope this thread isn't removed, because it is a very good discussion and we all are learning. Nothing has been speculated about the situation or their integrity.

The crime they committed speaks of their integrity. Let us hope that they learn their lesson and have learned it well.

If this incident is consistent with a pattern of devious behavior, than I think we can comment on their integrity. If this is an isolated incident then I prefer an approach of discipline and the opportunity for them to resolve this situation and learn from it.
