Becuase when a team is obviously having problems having a fan of an old foe come on and throw smack (even if its deserved as has been pointed out is classless). Besides they partnered with us in the move to DI when none of the other schools in the old NCC had any vision and some even did there utmost to make the move as difficult as possible. At least they (SDSU) nutted up and made the move because they saw the light and knew what was happening in DII. Lastly NDSU would lay one hell of a big hurt on your yote team so that wasn't smack.

Another damn personal foul. What the hell is that all about? The same problems occured with last years team and when visiting with some of Daly's former players they indicated a discipline problem with Stig. The sun cannot come up soon enough.

I have ripped my team, the Coyotes when they don't perform time and time again. We have had a pathetic history for about 15 years prior to the past couple. Game like these do sting alot. As bad as the Coyotes have been I think this loss for SDSU would be like USD losing at home to an NAIA team. We all have our down moments and I am sure the Coyotes will have plenty of theirs in the future. If they do go D1 there are going to be some long afternoons.

As much as this isn't good for the SDSU program, I am still happy that you guys got into the MidCon. It sets a presedence for the former NCC schools around here. It makes it more likely that USD will go D1. I am for anything that makes that more likely. So I guess I just have to give you guys an at-a-boy for getting into the MidCon.

Who wanted to win the game -- Wisconsin-La Crosse
Who play fundamentally better football -- Wisconsin-La Crosse
Who wanted the ball (who went after it) -- Wisconsin-La Crosse
Who deserved to win the game -- Wisconsin-La Crosse
Who over looked their opponent -- SDSU

Bottom line is that they wanted it, they played better football. We did not play the game like we wanted to win, we played like we expected to win. They won and they deserved to win.

Big chore ahead next week unless we pull our heads out, forget about this week and prepare for next week.

Take your shots now. Glass house or not some of us need to hear it. Many may not want to admit that despite the overall outlook at DII USD is doing one heck of a good job. They have solid men's programs and their women can hold their own. Exactly why I think DII is where they should remain right now. Things look very good for USD right now.

Plus, I don't like being patronized. We sucked tonight and facts are facts.

Well, I'm going to open the betting line on Montana +55 on the Jacks.

I hope we'll see a completely different team next week. I guess we'll see, won't we.

Pretty hard to beat SDSU when NDSU isn't playing them, thats the problem with the U's is they are always worrying about the State U's and trying to beat us even when we aren't playing each other.

Honestly out womens teams are not very good at USD overall. Our men's teams carry the mantle for the University. There is no excuse for the downturn that our womens basketball teams has taken since the Koupal era. Our coach is going to get himself fired if he doesn't watch out. I do feel bad for you guys tonight.

What an uncommonly perceptive comment. The Land-Grants define themselves by their achievements (or, as tonight, by their failures). The U's seem to always define themselves against the Land-Grants.

We're a very bad football team right now. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Coyotes, the Bison, or anyone else, except the Wisconsin-La Crosse Eagles.

UWL beat us. They beat us bad in the second half. They should get a lot of credit. I hope they go unbeaten and win the D-III playoffs--that way this loss won't be quite as horrifying as it seems right now.

Boy that was one ugly game boys. How does that happen? I agree with jackmd and filbert no way should a division I-AA team lose to a division III team. With the running game SDSU has displayed since moving to division I they should have been able to ram it down UWL's throats. Very embarrassing game for SDSU and the Great West. Montana got thumped today too so they will be out for blood too. Field conditions shouldn't render athletic ability useless so that excuse doesn't fly. The post game interview with Stig should be interesting to say the least.

Get it fixed Jacks the Great West wants all strong teams. >

I think I may be on the verge of a psychotic break. The state hospital is only about a 1/2 mile from my house. I hope they have a padded room available.
