    Re: Wisconsin-La Crosse

Not to look past UWL, but with the sloppy field, I hope we can get a big lead early and get some additional playing time for the reserves and rest/not risk the starters too much.

That would improve our depth and give the starters some rest before heading to Missoula.

With my wife and kids out of town its time to pick up some wings and chips, a few sodas (on call so no beer), and tune in the radios. The Jacks are about to burst onto the field!!

And I'm sitting in suburban KC, hoping the webcast will be trouble-free . . .

Well, heck. No web-cast (on either mine or my wife's laptop).

            I am not pleased . . .

Still nothing on the webcast. Guess I'll have to see if Livestats will be working tonight.

Lord, I would have steam coming out of my ears if I couldn't hear the game. Glad I am back within WNAXs reach. I hope they get it online. I'll try to keep those who can't listen up-to-date.

Stig says Watson is suspended for 1 game for academic reasons. Jerry is in the booth with Steve and Scotty Kwas (Sp) is on the field.

Jacks will have the ball first. Playing for their 500th win. Here we go.............

Weather is nice but the field is soft and wet, muddy.

JeRon returns the kick from the 10 to about the 25. Here comes the offense.

                    Yeah, I'm not happy . . . but I have La Crosse's webcast (or rather, I had it . . . )

Grrrr...why don't they test this stuff before the season begins?

Moving the ball well, running the ball with. Across midfield to the LaCrosse 48. Live stats don't seem to be working. They are keying on the run now and its getting hard to move the ball.

Thanks for the updates! Lawrence & Schiller may be working on the server--I sure hope so. I couldn't connect to it a minute or two ago with my wife's laptop.

Of course, now my wife's laptop just re-booted itself (she said it had been acting funny).

This is turning into a not so fun evening . . .

Kardoes picked off after WR falls down. They move the ball well through the air but turn it over on downs after 2 first downs. Our pass defense sounds shoddy at best right now. Getting some pressure on the QB.

Webcast not working on my PC so I don't think its your problem Filbert.

Man, these Pizza Hut wings are terrible! Anyone try KFC or Domino's wings?

Kardoes throws for a first down at the 35.

Dominoes aren't very good either, IMHO (but it was a couple of years ago now). I mostly make my own any more . . . a bag of frozen wings, in the oven at 400 for an hour and a half (turned once half-way through the process).

Buffalo Wild Wings is about as good as it gets (not that that does you much good).
