    Re: New rankings

Jeff Sagarin (I think this is a computation and not a poll) has us at a respectable 118 (this includes Division 1-A teams) just one notch behind Cal-Poly SLO.

If his game predictions method can be trusted we should beat Davis by about one and one-half points even though they are above us in this rating.

Thanks FargoBison, I had us ranked 22nd and am hoping we can top 16k and set a new attendance record.

I agree completely. If we can win the conference, it would be huge. The rankings would come with a GWFC win!

            Re: New rankings

In an earlier post I indicated that I thought the Hansen poll had missed the comeback by the Jacks last weekend and that I had sent them an email.  I heard back from them last night indicating that was the case.  The last score they saw was 21-6 Cal Poly.  They have moved SDSU from not listed in the top 40 into a tie for 24th and corrected the record of Caly Poly.  I think it was very nice of them to admit the error and post a change in their rankings.

              Re: New rankings

In looking at the RPI, it is a bit surprising that at least five of the top 25 teams in terms of RPI are ineligible for the postseason, whether due to reclassification (SDSU, NDSU, and UC-Davis) or voluntary reasons (Princeton and Harvard). In addition, I'm surprised that San Diego (the D-1 USD) has an RPI that high despite playing mostly (if not all) non-schollie teams.

Well you guys did it again so SDSU is now up to 16th in my AGS poll. Congrats on the win and I can't wait for the Dakota Marker battle in the Dome.
