SDSU will be bringing many surprises to the Fargo Dome this weekend!

The arrogancy on here is pathetic. I'm just a college kid trying to get some tickets for a game...to support OUR TEAM!! For your information, my friends go to Moorhead State (Which makes getting ID's for the game pointless). I'm going up early on Friday to watch my friend play basketball for them. It's their season opener and I wanted to catch one of his games as I played basketball with him in HS. I feel like I should be cheering for NDSU or something after all of this crap. Just because I'm a college student doesn't mean I'm an idiot. But I'm done writing about this subject.......
Kid, I get your frustration but don't point it at MJA he was making a suggestion that maybe might have been done a few times over the last few hundred years (I know it happened in 1985). I would take it from your first post that you had friends at NDSU also. Sometimes people on here can be frustrating but I don't understand your anger. One of them even suggested he might find a way to help you defer the cost.
Take a breath, cheer on the Jacks this weekend, and also the Dragons? I think that is what the Morehead Mascot is.
Go State!

Wow, I guess I'll stop suggesting ways for a poor college kid to find a way into a game for free. I also suggest you take a deep breath. I've been called words that rhyme with bassbowl and stickhead before, but can't remember arrogant. If you take a second to read my post you'll see the purpose of my post was to do 2 things. 1) get you in to the game for free to support "OUR TEAM" as per your original request (you started this thread looking for FREE tickets - I presented you with a way to do just that), and 2) getting the bison fans bent out of shape by me suggesting you sneak into the game with a NDSU student ID. Not sure how that ended up being construed as a shot against you, but somehow you read into that. I don't think you're an idiot as you stated, just think you may need to slow down a little and exercise a little reading comprehension.
By the way, bison fans. Settle down. It was meant to be a joke. News flash for you, though. Hundreds of USD fans have snuck into SDSU's Hobo Day game over the years and vice versa for Dakota Days. Same goes for SDSU, USD and UND students sneaking into NDSU games, etc, etc. It's what poor college kids with friends in other schools do to get in to great games without having to spend hard-earned beer money on tickets. I've done it before and I've given my student ID to friends to use before. It happens all the time. In fact, the practice is fairly wide-spread across the college landscape. Probably doesn't happen in Nirvana, I mean NDSU, though. No NDSU student would DARE let in a SDSU fan to this game.

The best way is to get a student ID is if your friends or you know a not-trad student. Often they have commitments for their kids, work, etc. that makes going to games impossible.
Hope 3031 has a blast.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but you can never teach a stupid dog anything.
You just can't find stuff like the conversations and discourse that happens on this site everyday anywhere else. I meet some interesting people day in and day out but the chatter here is different.
As for students, if I could buy tickets for 10 of you I would. I can't make the trip but if I were in college again I would make sure to be in Fargo this weekend.
As for MJA, arrogant is not necessarily a bad thing and I don't think you qualify for that label.....yet. The student ID suggestion is a good one and I've used it before. I'll even admit to doing it at CAS as a poor medical student at USD. I think my contributions to SDSU since that time have made up for it, at least I hope. P.S. We use to sneak into all the games at the dome thanks to a friend on the USD track team.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
I'm an SDSU student and me and a bunch of friends are going up for the game next weekend. We went last year and it was a blast to say the least. But we payed for our tickets last year. Obviously it is just 15-20 bucks but if I can save all of us a combine $150 or so, it would be fantastic. Does the school give out free tickets to students from visiting schools??? Or does SDSU let kids get tickets???
Anyway, this reminds me when a friend and I decided to go to the Colorado vs. Nebraska game in Boulder (the 62 - 36 game CU won). We didn't have tickets, but started talking to some students working for the campus catering service at the game. The handed us food trays and we walked right on into the stadium with them during the first quarter.

Shame on you and I'm surprised by your arrogance... :

Good re-con. I've got a buddy that's been into a dozen or so major concerts without a ticket. I wouldn't do it but he's proud. Glad everybody has relaxed..btw, is arrogancy a word?
Back in the 80's when I was in school I remember loaning out my student ID to help some high school kids get into the game, so its been going on for some time. A couple of years ago an old friend and SDSU alum showed up at Frost without a ticket for a sold out SDSU USD game, and we successfully snuck him into the game. Yes, sometimes alumni bend the rules too. BTW I'm not giving up my method on how to sneak alumni and older people into Frost, gotta save it for future sell outs.
P.S. And yes, the friend I helped get into the game is an annual donor to SDSU.
