Nope no mention of SDSU, he did mention that he did do some punting in college. Dan Patrick did call him a future Hall of Famer, Vinatieri of course gave much of the credit for his success to the quality teams he played on.

Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri, a South Dakota native, has agreed to forfeit benefits for big game hunting and will obtain non-resident hunting and fishing licenses in the future, according to a deal he reached with state officials.

The agreement means he will forfeit “all of his accrued big-game license drawing preference points,” according to a statement today from the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks.

The agency has concluded its review of Vinatieri’s license applications and residency status.

Vinatieri gave the department his full cooperation in this matter, according to the GF&P’s statement.
