I apologize if already posted... JD

This link says that Warren is going to USD, I guess we'll find out tomarrow. Seems like a pretty athletic player from his youtube video. Does anybody know if we have a punter in the works, on the roster is a kicker named Dean Priddy, is he a punter or a kicker?

Priddy is primarily a punter, worked with neal all of last season and from what I've been told has a pretty good leg.

It looks like Edgy Tim had the South Dakota universities confused.  It looks like USD is getting two QB recruits out of Illinois.  :'(

I wouldn't be too upset if I were you. Our two QBs are the:

Nebraska Gatorade player of the year for the 2006 high school football season -- Jim Ebke

              and

South Dakota All State Quarterback -- Brad Iverson

I think we did ok! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

4 qbs on top of the 4 we already have...Damn we are deep at that QB spot.

I would imagine that at least a couple of them have a potential of versatility. Hoogevean was a QB before he switched to Sam.

Dante looked like a better DB than QB. I'm that's what he'll end up at down at USD.

So let's straighten this out, we have received verbals from two QB's right? And then we have 4 on the currrent roster. Do you know of others blue, or were you counting the two from Illinois that were mentioned that have verballed to USD? (even though one was thought to have verballed to SDSU originally)

Has anybody heard anymore about a possible transfer QB from the Univ of Ill that was mentioned earlier in the recruiting cycle? Maybe we will find out tomorrow, but maybe not as I don't think transfers necesssarily need to commit on signing day.

I was going off these two from Illinois. I guess we'll find out more in about 12 hours or so.

Chad Henning the 6'6 330lb lineman out of Wisconsin who the Jacks seemed to have early interest in has committed to Mn State. He also had offers from SW Minnesota and USD. We do not have any known commits from Wisconsin where NDSU and UND have several.

No go on the QB from Illinois. I think he ended up staying somewhere in Illinois.

Another recruit we will most likely see on the list today:

SDSU has a commitment from RB Chris Ganious of Galena Park, TX, North Shore HS (near Houston). Smaller back, and have been told that he has good quickness, great hands, and his team has won something like 60 straight games. HM 5A All-State. Had 1500 yds and 23 TDs. He had some interest from Army and Navy. Might fit into a slot receiver type and also in the return game. Sounds like he could be a nice compliment to a more physical Minnette if they both pan out in the future.

I don't know if anybody else can dig anything up on him.
