In the print version of the Argus today (6/19/2007) it states Kardoes will in fact NOT play for Augie next year. There is an "inside article" within the article about Augie and the NSIC going to split divisions in some sports. The article state it was "confirmed by the head coach but he would not give specifics." I wish I could give a link but the online version of the Argus isn't providing one.

Anyone have any info on why he's not playing there next year?

This may be the reason:

I have heard that Andy will not be playing for Augie this year after all.  

Student Athletes can't receive scholarship for more than 10 semesters, and Andy has his 10, so he would have to pay for school to play for Augie.

The Augie "advantage" is very expensive.
