Unfortunately SDSU is 47-50-7 against USD but 17-9 at home (CAS). I think 4 games at home would be a great idea. I am going to make a comparison other people have used - Iowa didn't play from 1934 to 1977. Since the the rivalry has be intense even with the Hawks going 1-10 in the late 1990s and ISU going 1-10 a few years ago. USD doesn't have to be in conference for the rivalry. It will be about the gate and the hatred. There will be years it will bit SDSU for playing USD (a la Iowa in 2002) and years it will be bite USD. It will be a great game though and hopefully it won't be just hatred.
I do know that when it starts back up, Coach Stig needs to make a huge deal about the Little Brown Jug (Deux) publicly. Make it a focus like the Dakota marker. Plus I am just a sucker for traveling trophies.
