    Re: 2008 Recruits

I found this site on the web:

    http://wissports.net/sports/football....asp?nid=14592

SDSU is interested in almost all of them.

McNeely is a big boy. 6'2" 310. WOW!

      Re: 2008 Recruits

The two junior Linemen from Brookings are Matt Field and Alex Parker. Alex's Dad is Jay Parker, whom played TE for the Jacks. I have heard Matt's Dad played for SDSU as well.

        Re: 2008 Recruits

Stig was in Yankton and visitied Avon and Parker (probably other schools as well) earlier this week. I am aware of 2 "probable" verbals from Yankton. Could be more. We will find out soon enough.

Where is Mark Sayler from Scotland leaning? With his build and speed, he would make a solid OLB.

Another position for Sayler is Strong Safety. He has great ball instincts! A solid SD FB player. Dykstra from Avon has some upside as well. He could make a great TE, but would need a lot of time in the weight room and mess hall.

Austin Luecke from Groton? Is he getting any interest? I was on the sideline for that championship game and he is a beast.

It looks like all 4 Dakota schools are competing for Wisconsin recruits.

He's a very good player, but I think he's too small to play FBS.

Tyrel Kool from Yankton has been reported to have given his verbal commitment to Stig. Tyrel has speed which you can't teach but I'm not sure where he will fit in with SDSU. Perhaps in the defensive backfield or on special teams. Scroll down on the first link, he's the 4th player listed.
