Finally Saturday!
Top 15 matchup today, should be a good one. Not sure I agree with the 17.5 line I noticed earlier. The Jacks could cover I believe if they get out to an early lead and force Brady Davis to throw the ball. Either way hopefully the Jacks get the job done.
1-0 season today.

Given the Military Appreciation theme for this afternoon's game, just wanted to share this Amazon Prime deal allowing military & veterans to save $40 on Prime through 11/11. Starting to look better. Heide has been good so far, Redbirds are bringing tons of pressure. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us start to hit a few big plays if we start to wear to wear them down

First half thoughts:

Heide can make all the throws. If he continues to improve at this rate, it's not a given that Gibbs is the starter next season. If course, there's a lot of season left.
Other than being a bit surprised on the first drive, they have settled in nicely.
Offensive line has to do a better job of protecting our QB.

Outside of the fake, I'm not sure I really hate our play calling so far. ISUr just has a great front 7. The fake was tremendously stupid and might come back to bite us. D has played good, but I feel like the ISUr backs are about one tackle away from breaking a long one. It is paramount that we come out and force a quick 3 and out in the 3rd. This seems like a game that will break open in the 4th and whichever team is more gassed on D will be on the wrong end of it.
