The wildcat makes sense, under the circumstances. With a new QB, it reduces the chances of a bad handoff in a critical situation. I don't mind seeing Nelson get a series once in while, either. It makes the defense wonder what's up. Heide is having a pretty good game, though.

As the second half approaches, the announcers on ESPN3 are discussing remaining schedules. One notes the Jacks will have two home games and then go to MITCHELL to play USD.

Corn Palace? Did not know it had large enough ceilings for football. I feel sorry for these ESPN guys covering the basement team.

It seems the Bear defense, while still pretty stout on runs, is starting to wear down. Their defensive backs are leaving at least one of our receivers open and we're starting to take advantage.

MSU's running back, Wilson, goes through the middle and 57 yards later scores. PAT good. Jacks 21, Bears 7 with 13:22 left in the game.
Wilson has nice speed.
