...I just hope we don't get a Brock Lesnar/January Jones type that doesn't have any ties to SDSU ....
Not arguing for or against but just a trivia point: January Jones had family members who are SDSU grads. (I reported earlier on this board that her mom and dad went to SDSU...not sure about her mom but am quite sure her dad went to SDSU as did an uncle and other family members).

She is also my 3rd cousin. Only met her once when I was young.

Now that would be an interesting selection. Nicknamed "The Baron" (also "Pistol Pete" before there was a Pistol Pete Maravich). Ellendale, ND. What an athlete! Helped SDSU win a national title in track and field (NAIA days). His #44 was retired by the Philadelphia Eagles. Two daughters are SDSU grads. But, The Baron is 88 years old and may not want to make the trip.
How about Dana J. Dykhouse? A national audience may find it interesting that our facilities are named after a guy who is still alive and still supporting his alma mater.
FYI, the guest pickers for NDSU were Phil Hanson(former NDSU and Buffalo Bills player, current radio color guy) and Brock Jensen. So it doesn't have to be someone well-known to the general watching public.
JMU's guest picker was Gene Wojciechowski, an ESPN writer who dressed up as James Madison. Don't know what to think about that.
Absolutely horrible Governor, this is coming from a well connected West River Republican (myself)(I've turned more libertarian after her election). She turned any real West River Republicans against her with her Clintonesque attack ads on Jackley. She has been hammered on many issues involving the Game and Fish, I am proud to have contributed to that.
She is as stupid as Trump on most issues. Absolutely idiotic.

Like JackJD said Pete is 88 years old, but he has kept in very good condition. At 88 he could have health issues. I know, I am on 8 medications. One is causing diarrhea, which one? After 75 you have these problems.
I see in wiki that January Jones was in "We are Marshall", she should know all about football from making that movie. Might be a better choice than Dana #71. but I jest.
