    I think it might also come down to budget issues. I get the feeling many schools are opening it up are also having more budget issues then others. Not that we couldnt benefit from having the extra revenue but some schools and systems are struggling more.

      I guess if South Dakota really wanted to get progressive as a state, we could sell weed at games.

      Positives: 1) Concession sales go through the roof. No worries about paying off stadium. 2) UPD would be happy with the mellow tailgating.
      Negatives: 1) If you thought crowd engagement during games was poor now... 2) Concession lines will be worse. Not to mention cheeto shortages.

        If you want to increase apathy in your crowd that's a good way to do it.

          Since USD broke the SDBOR rules to hire Big Game Bob on a 3 year contract with no consequence in 2016, why don't we just start selling beer at the games and let the BOR retroactively say that it's okay? Seems like it worked well enough in 2016 to just force their hand.

              Only problem would be the UPD patrolman wondering "Where did you get that beer?"
