Good for Jessie! Hard worker and really a good person. He really worked his way up through the SDSU coaching program and I believe started as a student coach (could be wrong on that). Hopefully NSU treats him well and he can move on to something bigger in the future.

I know his coaching career started at Iroquois High School as an assistant. May have even been a volunteer assistant. I remember he would drive to Iroquois from Brookings every day for practice. This was back when Iroquois won a 9-man state championship.

Talk about starting at ground level. Good for Jessie.

I did not know this. Stig started as an volunteer assistant too, so that might explain why Jesse has been kind of a regular guy. I too wish him the best. Is it a big deal? Yes.
