Fun post and good way to break down the game. I started to think you were light on your total yards but then came to agree with you based on how you broke it down. I don't see the Penguins waddling to 300 total yards with their offense, but they might.

I just really want to see their coach's stunned face on the jumbotron. I loved it always when the Badgers pounded the Huskers and I really want to see it again.

Pelini has his career that depends on the knowledge of the game. His emotions and lack of control thereof has put him at the MVFC level. If he had been able to control his emotions, he might still be at Nebraska. Of course that's a hard place to be a coach, you win or else you move on. Wiki says the UNL AD Said Bo did not win the games that matter.

I love to be a fly on the wall during his staff meetings at YSU.

He is a unique person, no doubt. Nidaros, he did win at Nebraska. In 7 seasons, his worst record was 9-4. The problem is he's a lot like Trump...even when he does something good or noteworthy, he then does something equally as stupid and shoots himself in the foot.

i think you will get the W Saturday, but it will be hard fought. Your team is playing really well right now. Good luck.

Yes our team is playing really good right now, but like you said without getting political, Pelini seems to be his worst enemy. It looks like so far this is one of his best years in terms of coaching and keeping a level head. Hopefully he is busy Saturday thinking Purdue. In ability he is better than FCS. Just my opinion. I had just reviewed the Wiki on Bo and you are correct most seasons were 9 win seasons.

I'm going to wait until our defense proves itself, then I'll book tickets. I think that's the key to whether or not this is a championship caliber team. Play defense like we did against the Bison for the rest of the year, and it could be really fun.

I think run game and defense will both be answered this weekend. Defense has done well: WIU, NDSU. They have gone up against some really high flying offenses, when adding that many new parts it usually takes game 4 or 5 to really get them gelled. YSU will just be the confirmation for me.

I'm expecting a battle due to a number of factors.

- Hobo Day jinx
- post-NDSU letdown
- Quality opponent with a strong pass rush and grind-it-out offense
- My own personal pessimism

The timing is right for a win that could go a long way towards elevating the program. I hope they can take advantage of it.
