    That's correct. The stripe is a decal on the old helmets.

    I also heard from someone who works with the team that the numbers had to be attached after arrival from UA. Now that is time consuming.

        I really like the all black and the black stripe ties the helmet in nicely. A black facemask would be interesting to see. Would either be awesome or terrible.

              I can understand maybe the guys in the trenches, the linebackers, and maybe the running backs. But I doubt that the "skill" positions have much damage to their decals

                And especially at home games, at least half the players that dress probably never make it into the game.

                                Agreed. The PA announcer mixed up Landberg and Wieneke more than once. Zimmer even alluded to it in some of his tweets.
