Taryn's poise has been terrific all year and he's been using his legs to extend plays instead of take off and run with the ball. His progression from freshman to sophomore has been Nate Wolters-esqe.

Can you imagine what this type of wide open offense would have done with a back like Zenner? There would be no way to defend it.

Need to tackle better. Those stupid swing passes are killing us. Not much to say about the offense, except that when they tried to be balanced, they stalled. Downfield passing seems to be what works... so keep doing that. Taryn is (given all the attention for Goedert and Wieneke) quietly having an unbelievable year. I hope they keep blitzing. Taryn will step out of it and deliver it to the big guys.

They aren't the best.

On the game I'm pretty happy with 28 points considering that TC has been off most of the game missing passes he's been money on all year. Defense is getting killed by our classic Achilles heel, the bubble screen. One time we try to jump it we get burned for a long TD. Overall the defense has played decent outside of the first SIU TD drive and one long play. Lock down a couple sloppy plays and we sit pretty in the second half.

I think the absence of Dallas Brown shows including on some of those short passes. Did Tyler M have any word on Brown during the half-time report?

We're getting some sacks and hurry-ups.

Brady M. with a 50+ yard swing pass for the TD. Looked like it was Goedert who just erased someone on the sideline to spring him.
