I thought for sure that TCU reciever caught the ball out of bounds, but he had about a foot to spare.Dang, just about had that play thwarted.

TCU with the lucky bounce off the side of the upright and it's tied up.

              HALF: SDSU 24, TCU 24.

Jacks scored 21 points in the 2nd quarter.

TCU will receive to start the 2nd half.

Great half Jackrabbits! Now just bring that energy to the second half.

On a different note...i just can't handle those pop up kicks. I know the guy is a threat, but i just hate to see the opposition given a short field.

Absolutely no reason to kick to the returner. Punt the ball out of bounds. Great effort from the Jacks in the first half!

I agree. But I think mitigating the risk of giving the TCU return guys a chance in space is the right one. Koob, who does the kickoffs, did kick in through the endzone once. It would be nice if he could do that everytime.

Don't mind the pop ups. 20 yds isn't going to matter to much for an offense like tcu. Punts need to end up out of bounds.

So... I'm thinking the Jacks are very good. The defense was terrific, all things considered. Wieneke was... Wieneke. Offensive line looks great. Christion looks relaxed. Play that well in the second half and you have a chance to actually win this one.

Also: I feel sorry for Drake.
                        Holy nutmeg!

A lot to like about how the Jacks played that half. They had one bad fumble and gave up a punt return to one of the fastest backs in America. But they're playing with the Frogs, hit for hit, and moving the ball.

If there was any lingering doubts about whether the Jacks can hang with TCU before the game, those feelings should be completely erased by the spectacular performance the Jacks have displayed in the first half, even with the fumbles we had and the punt return by TCU.Clean it up and come out strong in the second half and shock the world and win this thing.High rollers in Vegas have got to be feeling a little bit nervous you'd think.

I'm ok with the pop up. One special teams TD is enough.

We're going to need to get a couple more turnovers to win. It's possible if Hill plays like he did in the first half.

Oh, I understand the strategy. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Ha.

Is Wallace going to leapfrog into the feature back before the middle of the season? He seems to have a little more wiggle and elusiveness
