I see a lot of people predicting the YSU game as a loss. Is that more a function of predicting the minimum of one let down game we seem to have at home every year? Or YSU being a tough team to beat, even at home? I just don't see YSU being that tough, maybe I'm wrong.

An indication I think that people are willing to admit to themselves we seems to play a little.....lackluster on Hobo Day lately.

I however, am not ready to admit that yet myself. I think we beat YSU, and I can't wait to see Pelini raging on the sideline.

I see it as a possible loss because it's after the NDSU games, and that game always seems to have a let down the week after for most teams. The other reason is what has been mentioned already, it seems our Hobo Day performances haven't been great recently. And I think that YSU has a playoff team this year. If you look at their games last year they should have beaten NDSU last year had Pelini kept his head and lost to ISUr by three as well. I think they end up at 3rd or 4th in the Valley. That and I think people don't want to be overly optimistic for the season.

19,000 in attendance. Drake with zero scholarships. This team lost to USD 52-0. Remember the Valpo game several years ago? Like that.

Tough game, but Beef Bowl. Huge crowd.

You have to think returning players really want to avenge last year's devastating loss.

Some have picked this as a loss. No way. Hobo Day. Huge crowd. Bo Pelini melts down several times in this one. And his team follows suit.

I suppose it's fashionable to see MSU as an up-and-comer. Doubtful.

Bailey is a beast. The Panthers tend to stumble early then come on late. This could be UNI's year.

Going to go with our standard 7-4(5-3), 1st round of playoffs, and then an early exit.

I'm not going to predict game for game but I'll also go with 7-4 make the playoffs and lose early. We will lose at least one game we absolutely shouldn't (pretty much our MO) just as RO says.

40% chance of going 7-4

30% chance of going 6-5

10% chance of going 8-3

20% chance of something else.

I'm glad all you guys are so optimistic! Makes me feel better. I'm nervous about this season. Don't know if it's the qb thing or what.
However, I think I said the same thing last year.
