They come out expecting to dominate us. And why wouldn't they? We feebly hope for a win once in a while. Attitude is a huge part of this. Not to say they aren't better physically, but it extends beyond that...it's mental and unquestionably coaching as well. We pray to stay close, then just say, "Gee golly, holy nutmeg" when we get our tails kicked. They own space in our heads, and if you don't think that's the case, you're kidding yourself.

This. Football especially but to some extent in men's hoops. Jacks wet their collective pants when they see green and gold.

On 4th and 3, Lujan hits Goedert for a 26 yard TD. The 4th and 1 at the goal line really hurts now.

I'd also like to say that perhaps we need to let a few posters know that they should probably stop proclaiming how great our stars will play against the bison before the game. Happened with Zenner...now with Jake. Perhaps hold their ill advised smack until after the game.
