  • Re: 2017 Recruiting List

If you have the time, check out Eddie's HUDL clips. What a huge progression he has made from his junior year to his senior season!

I had to do some digging, but the kid has a nice frame too at 6'5" 295 lbs.

I was trying to remember some of the past Bobcat linemen that played D1 football. Alex Parker was obviously a big part of the Jacks front line for many years. Tim Popowski, started a few years for the Bison before he graduated in 2005. Anybody else recently?

Watched the Class A championship game between Omaha North and Bellevue West tonight. North was a big favorite, but running back Jaylin Bradley was a man among boys as he ran 36 times for 249 yards and 5 TDs.

The announcers were commenting that he's the best running back to come out of Nebraska in a number of years. His speed and cutting ability are phenomenal! Sounds like he's interested in the Huskers, but they haven't offered yet. He has some academic issues to get cleared up to qualify for a Big Ten team, but they expect that to get cleared up.

I know now some will have issues, but he's been at the forefront for making a stand on police brutality against blacks.

He ran for 496 and 7 touchdowns in the quarterfinal game and 295 and 6 touchdowns in the semifinal game. He appears to be getting worse as the playoffs went along.😀

According to a tweet from Coach Eck it looks like we picked up a verbal from Minnesota.

Wow, got a ND kid to come south. Nice to see that happen rather than the other way around for a change.

I love this kid's passion for the Jackrabbits based on his active tweets and it appears he has the frame to build on. I saw on one web site where he lists his wing span as 6'10"!

I was a little surprised when I saw that he didn't make the Class AAA All-Western ND First Team list. Two of his offensive line mates were selected first team and three from the Minot defensive line received the honor. Cook was honorable mention. That must of been one outstanding group of linemen!

Welcome aboard Colton! Hope you create a trend of recruits from the Peace Garden State heading south of the border. Lord knows the Bison have a rich tradition of poaching top flight recruits from South Dakota.

The class continues to be dominated by OL/DL. 9 or 10 out of 15, depending if you consider Winkleman a DE or LB.

I'm sure the offers weren't comparable. No way a recruit picks SDSU over NDSU if the money is equal.

*Note: Just saving the bison fans the trouble of pointing this out to us.
