Very much enjoyed this article when I read the paper this morning. There is zero doubt that SDSU has overachieved with the resources they have, particularly when compared to the monsters to the North. (No, not UN_)

My question, however, is this the correct metric ($/wins)? The SDSU fans I know and work with all want to be the top dog in the Valley, and this metric basically treats all wins equally, which undervalues playoff, and FBS wins. Honestly, I am not trying to start controversy, but some tougher questions could have been asked as being better than USD should not be the goal, me thinks.

Sorry guys, it will tick off certain people, but I like Zimmer's reporting a lot better than TV's. For football.

I think this was an interesting, well written article. It explains a lot of things about SDSU and speaks about the players that Stig recruits. It also had a very good Stig quote which the previous reporter sometimes lacked.

I agree with SDSUAlum08 - keep clicking the links. I enjoyed the article and enjoy Zimmers' writing. Zimmer has guts. That is what you want in a writer. I hope he gets the SDSU beat.
